Qualifications and Training

Dr. Heidary completed her specialist ophthalmology training at Shiraz University of Medical Sciences, followed by an 18-month post-national board Vocational and Professional Education and Training (VPET) program, regulated by the Ministry of Health and Medical Education. This advanced training has been formally verified by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG), the Electronic Portfolio of International Credentials (EPIC), and the Australian Medical Council (AMC). She has worked as a comprehensive consultant ophthalmologist across clinical, surgical, educational, and research domains.

Subsequently, she completed two recognised fellowships:

• Fellowship in Cataract and Refractive Surgery – International Council of Ophthalmology (ICO)
• Fellowship in Paediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus – Westmead Children’s Hospital

She was ranked in the “Top 10 Percent” of candidates in the national ophthalmology board examination and continues to be actively involved in postgraduate teaching and international ophthalmic education.

The clinic is closed on weekends and public holidays.
